"There is no universal material that is capable of fulfilling all possible requirements, or that can perform all processes equally well - each material has its own advantages and shortcomings."

The words of Ole Palsby in the spring of 1977, and this was the starting signal for Eva Trio. Where one and only one material had previously been used Ole Palsby chose to use three different types of metal whose individual properties in connection with cooking were unique. Iron, aluminium and copper. This was the Trio that gave the series its name.

With Eva Trio Ole Palsby not only created completely new possibilities for combining the various utensils and enabling design and function to combine in a given interplay. He also demonstrated new departures in Danish design. Departures that have since led to widespread recognition and a host of design awards.
